Emma Svennberg MD, PhD holds a combined post-doc and clinical position at the Department of Cardiology at Danderyd’s Hospital – Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.  She is a board member of the European Heart Rhythm Association, where she is m-Health co-ordinator.  

Research areas: Screening for AF in asymptomatic individuals, both systematic screening, and in risk groups.

Projects: Strokestop 1; Strokestop 2; Screening for AF in patients who have got pulmonary embolism – SAFE-PE; Development of an app for detection of AF during the peri-cardioversion period.
