Hanne Ellekjær MD, PhD is Stroke physician at the Department of Medicine, Stroke Unit, St Olavs Hospital, Trondheim, Norway. She is also Researcher at the Department of Neuromedicine and Movement Science (INB), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Research areas: Epidemiology, antithrombotic treatment, stroke prophylaxis, lifestyle factors.

Projects:  Atrial fibrillation and life style factors in the HUNT study. Use of warfarin and direct oral anticoagulants in atrial fibrillation in Norway based on the  nationwide prescription register (NorPD).
