Jan Pål Loennechen is Senior Cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Cardiology Clinic, St. Olav’s Hospital, Trondheim, Norway. Professor at the Department of circulation and medical imaging, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Member of the Cardiac Exercise Research Group (CERG) at NTNU.

Research areas: Atrial fibrillation; Arrhythmias and physical activity.

Projects: Sleep disordered breathing in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation; atrial fibrillation and physical activity in the HUNT study.
