Co-leader of the afib.no network, Ingrid E. Christophersen, was awarded the “Young Research Talent” grant from the Research Council of Norway.
The grant will enable four years of research, establishing a national initiative to investigate genetic causes of atrial fibrillation, with aim to improve treatment, prognosis and quality of life for atrial fibrillation patients.
The project involves many afib.no network members nationally and internationally.
