
Arnljot Tveit MD, PhD is professor emeritus of medicine at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Oslo and senior researcher at the Department of Medical Research, Bærum Hospital, Vestre Viken Hospital Trust, Gjettum, Norway. He was the first afib.no network leader from the start in 2016 until 2025.
Research areas: Epidemiology, screening, upstream therapy, rhythm control, rate control, antithrombotic therapy, electrocardiology, biomarkers, genetics.
